• What does a water softener do?

A water softener removes minerals from the incoming water. —Turns hard water into soft water. 

• Do you need a water softener?

Have you noticed excessive water spots on your dishes and shower glass or trim. Corrosion or build up of calcium around faucets? If these issues are noticeable you should consider installing a water softener.

• Is your home setup for a water softener?

A water softener loop is needed,  (this consists of  a water and drain line usually located in the garage) if your home doesn’t have one this can be a very large and costly project requiring a professional plumber.

• Add-ons

A  whole house post filter should be considered to prevent debris from entering the water system in the case of a catastrophic failure of the water softener.
